I am an ICT teacher at a very important school in the middle of the country, and I have to monitor over a hundred and fifty computers all across the school to check to see exactly what each and every student is doing at any given time. It is a hard job that does not get much credit, and student are often abusive or not happy with teachers such as myself. I personally have no idea why. I thought that they all enjoyed me telling them off and logging them out of on-line gaming web sites.

My friend recently got nearly £200 stolen from his bank account. He's not completely sure how it happened, but he reckons that he probably got phished while doing on-line banking. The majority of on-line banking is completely safe, but my friend was unlucky, and got caught out. He went onto his bank's website, and a message came up. This message looked perfectly normal and like it was supposed to be there. It had the same colour scheme as the website design and looked really professional. It told him that as an added security measure, when he signed in, he had to type in some extra information. He did so, believing that the message was from the bank. He was then taken to the real banks website with the correct domain and website design and everything. He proceeded to go about his business as usual, and then went off-line. Everything seemed normal until he went to his local branch of his bank a few days later. They informed him of a withdrawal of nearly £200, but he never took the money out. The bank were already suspicious that there was a phisher stealing some of their customers information. They had been told about the message that came up that was the same as the website design, and they had also had many reports of money being taken out of accounts without the account holder being informed. In less than a week the bank managed to get my friends money back. They didn't exactly get it back - they paid the money back into his account, but they never took the money out of the account of the phisher. The bank are still not sure who is responsible for the phishing, and are urging people to be extra careful if they receive a message asking for information - even if it has the same website design as the main site. My friend is very pleased that he got his money back and has continued to use on-line banking ever since. If you are careful then on-line banking is very safe, and a phisher or someone hacking into your account is very rare. Even if your account does get hacked or phished, the bank pay you back the stolen money like they did to my friend. If you are ever unsure about giving any information to your bank on-line or any messages or requests - ask your bank about it directly.

I have recently gotten married to a wonderful man that has a job with web site development, and does a great deal of work on the computer. Lucky for me because my dream is to make a living working on the computer from home. He deals with on-line investing, something that I have no idea how it works. That is his department, web site development can be very complicated. I don't think that is the field that is right for me, I don't think I could really understand it to well. I like to do an on-line search in writing web content for the websites on the Internet. I love to write, and recently published a few articles online. I have a few ideas for children's books that I would like to get published. So that is the field that I would like to get into and learn more about.

There was a guy that loves the internet. Web design is his favorite thing to do on his free time. He spends everyday of his week on the computer. I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by the large list of programs my college had to offer. It was a college deticated to computing/IT, so the programs were pretty hard to choose. I really wanted to do them all. They had web designing, game designing, general computer studies and some really nice programmer courses, too. This college was a pretty well known one. They had a massive ad campaign last year where they set up free wifi hotspots all over our city. That's how I heard of them. One day I decided that I should try an dating on-line website. I didn't have much luck with other techniques. I searched up dating on-line on my search engine. I clicked the first link that said 'Free Online Dating at Plentyoffish.com™'. This dating on-line website didn't attract me with their design/layout and it just didn't seem very nice to me.
